Better is a good start. Doesn't make you any less worthy of attention or support. It's just nice to have momentary reprieve.

 

Does it help to know that "who you are" and "what your feelings do" are two different things? You can be a top human being AND feel like trash. Maybe your feelings, if they're this debilitating, are stuck somewhere else and are screaming at you about an emergency that no longer exists.

 

Something I try to do in those moments is laugh and say "it's just feelings!" Not to invalidate, but to signal the absence of danger. Even if it takes the edge off, it's a start. That might be enough to get you out of bed, for example.

Consult your doctor, you may need some counselling and other services. I know about high anxiety, all the very best xxoo
