Re: Help and advice

Hello
Thanks again the support means a lot as It is just me and him.
Yes he does and after he breaks down he wants too go but then after a sleep puts it off again and he is not in the right frame of mind to be forced so I gentle talking and trying to get him to go
Fingers crossed I will be able to … it’s all taking a toll emotionally too as I’m terrified of when his next anger outburst will be
But thanks for the care and support it does help a lot

Re: Help and advice

Hello

sorry for the long pause in reply but have been trying to deal with it all … things have gotten alt worse and I do t know where to go from here

Re: Help and advice

Hello

just wanted to reach out ..can I make him go to get help or is it all self admission

Re: Help and advice

Hi @maloo80 I'm sorry to hear things have gotten worse, and you're struggling to figure out your next steps.

Generally speaking, the only way for an involuntary admission to occur is because the person is at risk of harming themself or someone else. If that's the case, please call 000 right away.

If you're not sure, but you're looking for some support in working out whether an admission is needed, you can inquire with your local Crisis and Assessment Team (CATT). You can find info here about which number to call, depending on your location.

You could also give the SANE support line a buzz too! They're available Mon-Fri 10am-8pm on 1800 187 263. It can definitely help to be able to talk it all through with someone and get it off your chest!

Hope this helps, and I hope things calm down for you soon 😊

Re: Help and advice
